Even our most snobby acquaintances would probably describe the writing as not perfect but not too bad. There are plenty of great aspects about the film, though its plot may be the best one. Is the plot sufficient to justify renting Happy, Texas? Sure! But there are other reasons too.

The actors and actresses deftly execute the well-crafted plot while the direction helps the the actors and actresses to succeed. We had to give Happy, Texas high marks for production. The actors and actresses clearly cared about this film. The ultimate product shows this care.

The entertainment value of Happy, Texas is large. Although I wasn’t really expecting too much, we were truly satisfied with how good it was. If some of your co-workers haven’t heard of it, let them borrow a DVD. They’ll thank you.

We wonder about the the wisdom of the people who studied this writing quality but continued to produce the film despite obvious problems. All in all, we were disappointed with the quality of the movie’s production. All things considered, the acting was reasonably strong thanks mostly to Martin Landau.
