Let’s be straightforward: Blood and Chocolate is simply a bad movie featuring an even worse plot. Indeed, there is plenty of blame to spread around, but its plot is one major aspect. The plot these writers created is just one among many reasons to avoid this film.

Execution:
The acting, production, and directing of a film makes a big difference in its overall quality. The execution of Blood and Chocolate is poor. The acting performances by Agnes Bruckner and Hugh Dancy were expectedly bad.

Entertainment:
We were hoping to find anything I could point to that was in some way interesting, but we could not find a thing. If not for this review, we almost certainly would not have continued watching. And no, the film is definitely not “so bad that it is good”.

Overall, Rent or Buy?
Yes, it stars Agnes Bruckner. But believe us, it’s not worth it.
