Execution:
The writing is, fortunately, not wasted on mediocre acting and directing. The movie in its entirety is a decently produced and directed film. Though we were pleased with the film’s acting in whole. Famke Janssen and Jaymie Dornan were particularly powerful.

Entertainment:
We thought that the entertainment value of Turn the River is quite high. Though we weren’t really expecting much, we were truly pleased with how strong it turned out. We recommend you watch it at night, with the lights off.
