Runtime: 103 minutes

Plot:
A movie’s writers are often the unsung heroes of a flick. Though The Truman Show’s writing is good for all of the standard qualities, the subtle features stand out just as much. I might say the plot carries this movie, but the other features are are just as great.

Execution:
The plot is not wasted on mediocre acting, direction, and production. I was also pleased with the quality of the direction. Though we found ourselves happy with the film’s acting in whole. Jim Carrey and Laura Linney though, were particularly awesome.
