High quality writing is an oft-ignored but important factor of a film. With such a wonderful story, it is no great suprise that The House of Sand has received mostly good reviews. Is the plot enough to warrant renting the film? Yes — but there are other reasons.

The execution of the film, that is, the acting, is superb. I was also pleased at the quality of the direction. The flick is performed decently.

The film is simply neat. The entertainment level of a film is important, and this flick shows how entertaining drama movies should be. We can’t stress enough just how fun The House of Sand was.
