Plot:
Whew. The Abandoned is a bad piece of cinema. There is enough blame to spread around, but its plot is one important component. We began to take notes on all the problems with regard to the writing but stopped mid way in.

Execution:
We found ourselves not happy with the quality of the production and directing. Its direction was not acceptable. Although Anastasia Hille’s acting was weak, Karel Roden was notably effective.

Entertainment:
We thought foreign flicks are supposed to be entertaining? We were hopeful that The Abandoned’s cast would make up for the problems caused by terrible production — but the efforts are for naught. Oh, and the flick is not “so terrible that it is good”.
