Plot:
A film’s writing is its infrastructure. Thankfully, Smart People’s plot is solidly built. The story this film tells is fairly good, especially for a comedy movie. If you know someone who has an interest in film writing, pay attention.

Execution:
A good story is meaningless if actors and actresses fail to deliver. They are strong in this movie. We were compelled to give Smart People high marks for production. Being coherent is an encouraged, but all too often ignored element. We applaud the directors for being bold enough to utilize it.
