Good writing is an often ignored but important element of a film. With so wonderful a plot, it’s no major suprise that Requiem is rated as highly as it is. If you know someone with any interest in movie writing, pay attention.

Execution:
The writing is not wasted on poor production and acting. As great as the acting may be, it is bolstered by the strength of quality directors and strong producers. The actors clearly cared about this movie. The final product benefits from this care.

Is it entertaining? Absolutely. Have I sat though better drama movies than Requiem? Certainly, but not many. Have a bag of popcorn handy!
