Any high-quality movie demands a decent plot. Murder at 1600 features such a well-written plot that I found myself entralled right away. Young authors are highly encouraged to watch the myriad good plot devices that this movie’s plot outlines so aptly.

Execution:
The actors and actresses ably execute the plot while the director’s vision comes through strongly. We were also pleased at the quality of the production and direction. The film’s acting is reasonably good. Diane Lane stands out, however.

The entertainment value of Murder at 1600 is quite high. I’m pleased to see movies like this get funded. Watch it in the evening, with the lights off.
