Plot:
We could recommend Mean Creek to even our most discriminating acquaintances and feel proud. The quality of Mean Creek’s writing is so high that we would understand the film if other aspects were subpar. We might be able to state that the writing carries Mean Creek, but the other features are quite strong.

Execution:
The plot isn’t wasted on poor acting and production. As great as the acting in Mean Creek may be, it is supported by the strength of quality directors and strong producers. The flick is executed wonderfully.

Whew, what a rollercoaster! We’re just so happy that such a deserving film got made. Popcorn is highly recommended!
