Execution:
I found myself happy with the quality of the directing. As good as the acting is, it is supported by the strength of good directors and strong producers. Something about the acting in the film seemed somewhat strange, especially from Daniel Day-Lewis and Leonardo DiCaprio, but I didn’t know quite what it was.

Entertainment:
We were adequately entertained. Even though I wasn’t really expecting much, I was fairly pleased at how strong it ended up. You can’t finish watching Gangs of New York not satisfied.
