Plot:
Thanks partially to auspicious plot changes, Dead or Alive: Final is a banal and in the end pretentious piece of “entertainment”. It is almost like the film’s writers attempted to discover exactly how terribly they could make the plot and not be called out. I began taking notes on all the problems regarding the writing, but stopped mid way.

Execution:
The directing of a film makes a big difference in its overall quality. This movie as a whole is a poorly directed film. Dead or Alive: Final’s acting is not very good. However Maria Chen and Sho Aikawa are fairly strong.

Entertainment:
Sadly, the quality of the entertainment of Dead or Alive: Final was very small. Although we weren’t really expecting very much, we were especially disappointed at how boring it ended up. In fact, it was truly challenging to stay up from time to time.
