Plot:
The writers are the underappreciated heroes of a flick. Con Air displays such a good plot that I found myself entralled from the start. This serves as a fine demonstration of quality movie-writing.

The plot isn’t wasted on subprime acting, direction, and production. I was also pleased at the quality of the film’s direction. The acting is reasonably strong. Nicolas Cage and John Malkovich stand out.
