Plot:
High quality writing is an often overlooked but important factor of a film. Café Lumière’s quality plot is so high that I’d forgive it if other facets fell short. I could be able to state that the writing carries Café Lumière. But the other aspects are are equally good.

Execution:
A top-notch story is worthless if actors, director, and production team fail to deliver strong performances. But don’t worry. This film is an expertly produced film. Café Lumière’s acting is also good. Yo Hitoto and Tadanobu Asano stand out, however.
